Locations: London, St. Paul's

London is full of great places to visit and great sights to see. Be sure to experience Big Ben; you can't miss the city's huge clock tower. The Houses of Parliament are the crowning glory of the Thames. Join one of the queues - for either Lords or Commons. The nearby Cabinet War Rooms where Churchill planned the end of Nazism are also worth a visit. They have been left exactly as they were in 1945.

No visit to London is complete without seeing the changing-of-the-guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace. A short walk away is Green Park and Hyde Park, famous for Speakers Corner. The Serpentine, a lake where you can hire boats to row, or go swimming is also situated in the park. Another half day excursion includes the historic Globe Theater, London Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, and the Tower Bridge.

Shop till you drop at the posh shopping in the West End or along Oxford or Barnaby Street. Harrods and Harvey Nichols are two mainstays of Ladies who Lunch. Camden Market and Portobello Road Market are both quite an experience. Everything is on sale, including clothing, music, antiques, collectibles, rugs, ethnic art. Remember to haggle!

Enjoy the museums: the British Museum, the Imperial War Museum, the National History Museum, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, all with free admission. The Tate Modern is a must see - it is the biggest Modern Art Gallery in the world and is housed in a converted power station.

Other attractions very popular with visitors include The London Dungeon, Madame Tussaud's, and the London Eye. Children of all ages will love the London Zoo and feeding time for the penguins and apes. Don't forget the excellent food and dining all around town, not to mention the authentic English pubs.
